About Apricot

Apricot is a nonprofit sourcing firm connecting displaced and underserved professionals from Palestine and the wider MENA region with global employment opportunities. We combine a clear social-impact mission with fast, high-quality recruitment delivery for international clients.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive, full-time Recruiter to independently manage roles from intake through placement. This position requires more than processing applications - you will actively source talent, conduct strong assessments, maintain recruitment data and deliver an excellent candidate and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned roles end to end, from client briefing through onboarding handover.
  • Understand client needs and translate them into focused sourcing and assessment plans.
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and professional communities.
  • Screen and assess candidates against clear role requirements.
  • Prepare concise, evidence-based candidate summaries and recommendations.
  • Coordinate interviews, feedback, references and offer-stage communication.
  • Maintain timely and respectful communication with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Build reusable talent pipelines across Apricot’s priority roles and markets.
  • Keep candidate records, notes, trackers and statuses accurate and up to date.
  • Flag delays or hiring challenges early and recommend practical solutions.
  • Contribute to improving Apricot’s sourcing, screening and recruitment processes.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to support sourcing, research, outreach, interview preparation and administrative work.

Requirements

  • 3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience.
  • Strong proactive sourcing, interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
  • Experience managing multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to distinguish genuine candidate quality from a strong-looking CV.
  • Strong written and spoken English; Arabic is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently within a fast-moving remote team.
  • Familiarity with talent markets across MENA, North America, and Europe is highly valuable.
  • Practical exposure to tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or AI-enabled recruitment platforms.
  • AI expertise is not required, but curiosity and willingness to learn are essential.

You’ll Thrive at Apricot If You

  • Take ownership and consistently close loops.
  • Act proactively rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Balance empathy for candidates with a high quality bar for clients.
  • Communicate risks early and bring possible solutions.
  • Are comfortable adapting as priorities and processes evolve.
  • Use AI thoughtfully without replacing human judgment or compromising confidentiality.
  • Genuinely connect with Apricot’s mission of creating opportunities for displaced and underserved MENA talent.

Benefits

Why Join Apricot?

  • Create meaningful global opportunities for Palestinian and underserved MENA professionals.
  • Work with an international, mission-driven team.

  • Help shape a growing Talent department and its ways of working.
