What You Will Be Doing

Join OIT as a Senior Full Stack Web Developer and help build and support systems used by thousands of Alaskans every day. In this role, you will:

  • Lead and mentor on full-stack development and enterprise infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with customers and project stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform system analysis, evaluating existing architectures and recommending improvements for scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
  • Design and document application architectures, including service interfaces, data flows, and integration patterns across complex enterprise environments.
  • Apply database design principles to model, structure, and optimize data used by critical applications and backend systems.
  • Convert technical designs into code, tests, documentation, deployment artifacts, and fully functional components across the stack.
  • Build and maintain development, test, and production environments, ensuring smooth promotion of software and adherence to state standards.
