Head of business development

Tiugo is the company behind CKEditor, TinyMCE, Uploadcare, and ButterCMS: developer tools that power rich content creation inside thousands of applications worldwide. Our primary audience is the builder, the developer architecting an application that needs an embedded, enterprise-grade content and AI layer, where governance, compliance, and control are not nice-to-haves but hard requirements. Behind every one of our products is a genuinely good story about solving exactly that problem well. Most of the world hasn't heard it yet.

The person we’re looking for

We’re looking to build and scale a world-class business development team that fuels commercial growth across Tiugo’s product portfolio: CKEditor, TinyMCE, UploadCare, and ButterCMS. To accomplish this, we need a leader who can build and own a system that orchestrates effective outreach to our ICP across various stages of the buyer’s journey.

We need a systems level thinker with a high bar for excellence that translates across people, processes, and technology, all in service of driving more product adoption and high-quality conversations with our sales teams.

Where you sit

This is a functional leadership role reporting into Growth Marketing, on a team that owns pipeline and ACV as its scoreboard. You are the owner of all things business development, managing a team of reps in effort to drive pipeline and ACV.

What you’ll do

• Own the business development system, putting in place the people, processes, and technology to drive high-quality pipeline to help Tiugo achieve aggressive growth targets.
• Drive high-quality conversations and product adoption across our portfolio of brands.
• Orchestrate the outbound system, driving targeted awareness to our ICP and turning meaningful signals into high-quality conversations for our sales team.
• Maximize the commercial value of our ICP users who don’t yet use our professional products, with laser targeted, value-add communication.
• Build and lead a truly world-class team of dynamic sales development reps who are passionate about a future in sales.
• Partner with global product leaders, marketers, and builders to architect effective outreach that feels credible and human.

Key Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of leading business development efforts/reps at a technology company.
• Proven track record of generating high-quality conversations with senior decision makers and leaders.
• A genuinely high bar for what excellent sales systems and outreach looks like.
• Ability to think in and build systems that efficiently result in hitting or exceeding our growth targets.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring, and sales stewardship.
• A track record of proven excellence in sales spanning individual contributions and leadership.
