We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team!
This person has the option to work onsite, hybrid, or fully remote.
Schedule: Regular business hours + on call/weekends + travel
Travel Requirements: 40+%
The Business Development Manager is a driven, results-oriented sales professional focused on securing new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. Acting as the front-line “hunter,” this role is responsible for identifying prospects, building relationships, and developing qualified opportunities that drive sustainable revenue growth. The Business Development Manager is expected to actively prospect, network, and engage decision-makers, creating a strong pipeline of opportunities, of which some may be transitioned to an Account Manager for long-term relationship management.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Minimum three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in business development, outside sales, or related experience with track record of success in winning new accounts required. Experience managing B2B accounts, particularly in food manufacturing or Fitness/Sports Nutrition industry, strongly preferred.
Our La Crosse, WI, plant is home to approximately 330 employees. This facility supplies the food, beverage, and nutritional industries with innovative functional ingredients and superior quality contract manufacturing services.
La Crosse, WI, is nestled between the Mississippi River and the rolling river bluffs.
