Job Description

Job Description

C2's client, a data-driven ad tech company specializing in TV and streaming advertising measurement, seeks a Field Marketing Contractor to own the operational backbone of its field marketing program, including event logistics, vendor coordination, asset management, and event copy, so the rest of the team can stay focused on strategy and field execution. The person who thrives here is deeply organized, moves fast, and is genuinely comfortable with work that does not always look glamorous from the outside. If you can run a vendor contract through legal and accounting, manage an event registration page, and draft a sharp post-event recap before the team debrief ends, this is the role for you.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Contract, part-time, approximately four months; potential for extension or conversion to full-time

Location: Remote (New York, NY preferred; fully remote candidates considered)

Compensation: $28–$38/hour as a W2 employee of C2 (some rate flexibility for the right candidate) commensurate with experience

Technology: TBD

Responsibilities:

  • Event Operations and Asset Management
    • Maintain and organize the events folder structure, ensuring new events, partnerships, and related assets are properly filed and accessible to all relevant stakeholders
    • Manage and update event registration pages, ensuring accurate event information, speaker details, and branded design elements
    • Support keeping up-to-date event calendars and other shared planning tools
    • Compile biweekly Field Marketing updates for distribution to cross-functional teams, highlighting recent and upcoming events, press coverage, and relevant industry news
  • Vendor and Partner Coordination
    • Manage vendor and partner contracts, including coordinating approvals and signatures to meet payment and production deadlines
    • Support logistics for vendor and partner engagements, including completing intake forms, credit card authorizations, and spec-sheet coordination
  • Content and Event Promotion
    • Develop and execute event-promotion plans, including drafting social media, email, and website copy in coordination with creative design assets
    • Support the creation of event-marketing materials, including banners, header images, and invitations
    • Create post-event recaps for internal teams and stakeholders, including follow-up outreach plans and sales-enablement materials such as email sequences and copy

Requirements:

  • 2–7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or a related role
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable owning logistics from start to finish, including vendor outreach, contracts, forms, and coordination, without waiting to be directed
  • Ability to write clear, on-brand marketing copy across social media, email, and event materials
  • Proven capacity to quickly learn a niche ad-tech and TV-measurement business, product, and messaging
  • Authorized to work in the United States; this client does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas

Nice to Have:

  • Background in ad tech, TV measurement, media, or an adjacent industry
  • Familiarity with Splash or a similar event-management platform
  • Experience with Canva, Jira, Smartsheet, Salesforce, or Tropic
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
