Commission: 15% outbound / 7% inbound first-year fees collected; uncapped, OTE $150k+

Business Development Executive – Professional Services Description

Our client, a growing CPA advisory firm, is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their remote team. You will manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through scoping, proposals, and closing new client engagements. Much of your time will be spent conducting discovery calls with business owners, understanding their needs, and positioning tailored solutions across tax, accounting, and M&A advisory services. To be considered, you must have B2B consultative sales experience, including experience selling tailored services or solutions to business owners, with demonstrated success identifying client needs, developing customized solutions, managing opportunities through close, and winning new business. Business Development Executive – Professional Services Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery calls with business owners and other qualified prospects
• Qualify prospects based on business needs, timing, and established criteria
• Scope client needs using established service offerings and pricing tools
• Prepare proposals for partner review and present approved proposals to prospects
• Address objections and close approved client engagements
• Respond quickly to qualified inbound opportunities and referral introductions
• Support outbound prospecting as needed to maintain discovery call volume
• Build relationships with professional referral sources and follow up on leads
• Escalate technical tax, accounting, and M&A questions to licensed professionals
• Maintain accurate activity, contact, and pipeline records within the CRM
• Participate in pipeline reviews, call reviews, and sales training

Business Development Executive – Professional Services Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B consultative sales experience required
• Experience selling tailored services or solutions to business owners required
• Full-cycle sales experience from discovery through close required
• Proficiency with CRM systems and accurate record keeping required
