Job Description
At Naphora Games Group, we’re building more than games, we’re building a global team of ambitious, driven people who are hungry to learn, experiment, and raise the bar for the next generation of games.
We collaborate openly, move fast, and challenge ourselves every day to build better, smarter, and faster.
Our goal is to create world-class games that players around the globe love and remember. If you thrive in a high-performance, ownership-driven environment and want to make a real impact, you’ll fit right in with us.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on 3D Artist to create high-quality, visually engaging 3D assets for our mobile game prototypes.
You’ll work closely with artists, game designers, and programmers to take ideas from concept through to implementation, creating assets that look great while remaining optimized for mobile performance.
This role is a great fit for someone who is versatile, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced game development environment where priorities can move quickly and experimentation is part of the process.
Responsibilities
3D Art & Production
- Create, model, texture, and optimize high-quality 3D assets for Unity
- Create props, environments, and characters based on the needs and visual direction of each game
- Take assets from initial concept through to implementation-ready delivery
- Ensure assets meet both artistic quality and technical performance requirements
- Optimize models, textures, materials, and other assets for mobile platforms
- Support lighting, materials, shaders, and scene presentation where needed
- Maintain consistency in visual quality and style across game assets
Collaboration & Game Development
- Work closely with artists, designers, and programmers to understand gameplay requirements and translate ideas into effective visual solutions
- Contribute creatively to prototypes and help explore different visual directions and styles
- Collaborate with programmers to ensure assets are implemented correctly and efficiently in Unity
- Participate in team discussions, reviews, and planning, providing input on visual direction, scope, and timelines
- Respond constructively to feedback and iterate quickly based on gameplay, art, and technical needs
Craft & Improvement
- Stay up to date with relevant 3D art, mobile gaming, tools, workflows, and industry trends
- Look for ways to improve asset quality, production speed, and 3D workflows
- Balance visual quality with development speed and technical constraints, particularly during rapid prototyping
Success Looks Like
- Consistently delivering high-quality 3D assets that are ready for implementation
- Creating visually strong assets while maintaining mobile performance requirements
- Being able to work across different art styles and adapt quickly between game concepts
- Collaborating effectively with artists, designers, and programmers
- Taking ownership of assigned work and delivering reliably against timelines
- Responding well to feedback and iterating quickly as prototypes evolve
- Contributing ideas and solutions rather than only executing assigned tasks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 3D art, ideally within mobile games
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D work across different styles, assets, and subjects
- Strong proficiency in Blender, Maya, or similar 3D software
- Experience creating low- and mid-poly assets optimized for real-time game environments
- Practical experience working with Unity and preparing assets for implementation
- Good understanding of modeling, texturing, materials, lighting, and optimization
- Understanding of shaders and mobile rendering considerations is a plus
- Strong artistic eye with a good understanding of shape, color, composition, and visual readability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities, and adapting to changing requirements
- Able to take feedback, iterate quickly, and work within tight development timelines
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplines
If this role excites you and you’re ready to help shape the future of game development at Naphora, we encourage you to apply.
