Flagship Specialty Partners is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing for our oral and maxillofacial surgery and specialty practices in the Richmond market.
This is a hands-on role for a marketer who can think strategically and execute exceptionally well. You’ll work directly with our surgeons, practice leaders, and Flagship’s broader marketing team to identify opportunities, recommend strategies, and take ownership of bringing them to life.
We’re looking for someone who can understand a business need, determine the right marketing approach, and manage the work from strategy through execution.
What You’ll Do
Social Media Content Strategy & Brand Storytelling
Own the local and digital content strategy for our practices, providers and specialty services, developing content that can be amplified across multiple channels. The goal isn’t simply to produce more content. It’s to develop the right content, tell stronger stories and maximize the value of that content across channels.
- Identify the stories, expertise and services that will resonate with patients, referring providers and the community
- Create and coordinate content that can be extended across social media, websites, Google, YouTube, print and other marketing channels
- Work directly with providers to translate clinical expertise into accessible, compelling content
- Capture photo and short-form video content and coordinate larger creative projects when appropriate
- Develop and manage the social media strategy, content calendars and publishing cadence for local practice profiles
- Monitor social and content performance and use insights to refine strategy, topics and channel mix
Events & Community Marketing
Lead referral and community events across the Richmond market from evaluation through execution. This role requires someone who can determine which opportunities are worth pursuing while also ensuring every detail reflects the professionalism of our providers and brands.
- Evaluate events, sponsorships and partnerships for strategic fit and potential impact
- Develop recommendations based on practice, provider and market objectives
- Lead planning and execution of continuing education programs, referral events, community initiatives and other local activations
- Manage budgets, vendors, communications, timelines and on-site execution
- Evaluate results and apply insights to future programs
Market & Practice Marketing
Serve as a strategic local marketing partner for evolving practice, provider and market needs.
- Develop and recommend local marketing strategies to support practice growth, provider visibility and key service lines
- Lead or coordinate initiatives across print and local advertising, SEO, website updates, provider launches, referral materials and other market-specific needs
- Manage branding, signage, merchandise and other practice marketing resources to ensure consistency and quality
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to move initiatives from recommendation through execution
You Might Be a Fit If You Have
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience
- Strong experience in both event management and social/content marketing
- Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategy, not simply execute established plans
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities
- Strong writing, communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working directly with senior leaders, clients or other professional stakeholders
- Strong judgment, attention to detail and high standards for brand representation
- Comfort capturing basic photo and video content
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Highly Desirable
Healthcare, dental or professional-services marketing experience is a strong plus. Experience with referral marketing, multi-location organizations, WordPress, local SEO, Google Business Profiles, email marketing or project management platforms is also valuable.
How We Work
Flagship Specialty Partners supports a growing network of oral and maxillofacial surgery and specialty practices across the Southeast.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply receive a list of marketing tasks to complete. We want someone who asks good questions, recognizes opportunities, brings recommendations forward and takes ownership of making them successful.
At the same time, this is a hands-on role. You should be as comfortable developing the strategy as you are making sure it gets executed well.
If that combination sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you.
