Position Overview

As a CNA with Angels in the Home, you will provide individualized, one-on-one assistance to clients in their homes. Services may range from personal care and daily living assistance to companionship, household support, errands, and lifestyle services. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building personal connections, providing exceptional customer service, and taking pride in making a positive difference in someone's day.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care & Daily Living: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support. Assist with toileting and incontinence care as needed. Provide medication reminders as assigned and permitted. Observe and communicate changes in client condition.
• Companionship & Lifestyle Support: Build meaningful relationships with clients through conversation and companionship. Participate in activities, hobbies, games, and other interests. Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities. Provide emotional support and help reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation. Encourage independence while providing assistance when needed.
• Concierge & Household Services: Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and personal shopping. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning. Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and organization. Assist with transportation and accompaniment to appointments or events, when authorized. Help clients coordinate everyday activities and maintain their preferred routines. Provide personalized assistance based on each client's individual preferences and needs.

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification preferred/required as applicable to assigned duties.
• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide attentive one-on-one care.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required depending on assignment.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
