Founded in 1876, YMCA of Greater Seattle is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a community where all people, especially youth, are encouraged to reach their fullest potential in spirit, mind, and body. As an inclusive organization serving men, women, and children, the Y is committed to nurturing youth development, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility. Headquartered at 909 Fourth Ave in Seattle, WA, the organization works alongside neighbors throughout King and south Snohomish counties to help kids and families thrive at home, school, work, and beyond. With more than 1,300 employees, the Y operates 13 branches, two overnight camps, 10 swimming pools, and over 200 program sites across the region.
