The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is a government administration agency within the Texas Health and Human Services System, headquartered in Austin, Texas. Since a major restructuring beginning in 2016 and reaching a key milestone in September 2017, the system has aimed to be more efficient, accountable, and integrated, now comprising two agencies: HHSC and the Texas Department of State Health Services.
