Founded in 2001 by a former Head Start teacher and Children Defense Fund staffer, Acelero Learning is an education company dedicated to helping children realize their full potential. Headquartered at 63 W. 125th Street, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10027, US, the organization works with local communities to improve the quality of Head Start programs. Since 2005, it has directly administered Early Head Start and Head Start programs through locally managed delegate agencies supported by its New York-based Support Center. Today, with more than 900 employees, Acelero Learning affiliates operate early childhood programs serving nearly 5,000 children and families across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Nevada, South Carolina, and Wisconsin, having increased enrollment, improved teacher salaries, and expanded program hours in each community they serve.
