Overview

This is a project-based contract role, work arrives in batches as new pages and sites are designed, and you implement them in Webflow. Six months in, success looks like this: a smooth, repeatable handoff pipeline where design files and generated code go in one end and polished, responsive, live Webflow pages come out the other with minimal back-and-forth and no loss of design fidelity. You'll be our go-to Webflow authority, trusted to make the right calls on structure, reusability, and what belongs in native Webflow versus custom code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate HTML/CSS/JS files generated with Claude into well-structured Webflow builds preserving layout, responsiveness, interactions, and visual fidelity.
  • Own the Webflow architecture: a clean class system, reusable components, and a style guide that keeps builds consistent as the site grows.
  • Set up and manage CMS collections and dynamic content where pages call for it.
  • Use custom code embeds, attributes, and integrations judiciously where Webflow's native tools fall short.
  • QA every build across breakpoints and browsers, with attention to load performance, SEO fundamentals, and accessibility.
  • Help refine the AI-to-Webflow workflow itself telling us what makes generated files easy or hard to implement, so the pipeline gets faster over time.

Experience & Qualifications

Required

  • Deep, hands-on Webflow experience (3+ years or equivalent) with a portfolio of live sites you built.
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript you can read handed-off code fluently and rebuild it in Webflow's class and component model.
  • Experience with Webflow CMS, interactions/animations, and responsive design across all breakpoints.
  • Comfortable working independently as a contractor: async communication, clear estimates, reliable delivery.

Preferred

  • Prior experience converting externally produced code or AI-generated output into Webflow.
  • Familiarity with class-naming conventions like Client-First or similar systems, Finsweet attributes, DevLink, or the Webflow API.
  • Experience with site performance and SEO optimization in Webflow.

Compensation
