We are seeking a Web Performance & Tracking Engineer to lead the implementation and optimization of web performance measurement across ISC2 digital properties. This role is responsible for implementing scalable tracking and analytics, enabling accurate, real-time insight into user behavior and performance, and replacing assumption-based decisions with measurable data. The ideal candidate will establish tracking metrics, define events for priority user journeys and flows, maintain governance standards for accurate and consistent data collection, build baseline dashboards for key performance indicators, and translate data into actionable insights that improve digital experiences, demonstrate feature impact, and support informed business decisions. Success in this role requires a strong blend of analytics, technical implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to create a reliable user experience and analytics framework that measures engagement, performance, and outcomes. This position partners closely with stakeholders across digital, marketing, UX, and development teams to ensure measurement strategies are aligned with organizational goals and provide clear visibility into user behavior, site performance, and conversion opportunities. This position is not available to residents of California.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Analytics, Marketing Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field; will consider candidates with a high school diploma and at least 8 years of relevant experience. 4+ years of experience in web analytics, digital tracking implementation, marketing technology, website performance analysis, or a closely related role. Demonstrated experience implementing and managing analytics solutions, maintaining tracking standards, and producing dashboards or reports that inform decision-making. Experience partnering with cross-functional teams such as product, UX, development, and marketing to define requirements and deliver measurement solutions. Strong experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools. Experience with tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or equivalent. Experience developing dashboards and reports using analytics and visualization tools to communicate KPIs, trends, and business impact. Experience with CMS platforms, experimentation/A/B testing tools, SQL, or data layer architecture is preferred.
Up to 5% travel may be required. Work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines, deploy changes, or test implementations. Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods. Regular use of office equipment in a remote environment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
The pay range for this position is $92,917 - $121,246/Yr. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc. Information regarding our comprehensive benefits package is available here.
