This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Sales- East based in United States.
As VP of Sales, you will lead revenue execution and scale a high-performing sales organization through an important phase of growth. Reporting to the CRO, you will translate ambitious company objectives into a clear, measurable sales strategy and operating model. You will own revenue performance, forecasting, pipeline health, sales execution, and the development of exceptional sales talent. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational discipline across a geographically distributed organization. You will use data, market intelligence, and customer insights to improve performance and guide investment decisions. Working closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and executive leadership, you will help strengthen market position while building a predictable and scalable revenue engine.
Accountabilities:
- Own overall sales performance and revenue execution, driving the organization toward and beyond revenue and quota targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that translates growth objectives into measurable priorities, territories, quotas, and execution plans.
- Recruit, lead, develop, coach, and retain high-performing sales professionals and leaders across geographically distributed teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and consistent performance.
- Scale the sales organization by defining structures, roles, territories, performance expectations, and operating rhythms that support continued growth.
- Establish and continuously improve data-driven sales processes, CRM practices, pipeline management, reporting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Use sales metrics and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, diagnose performance gaps, improve forecast accuracy, and guide resource allocation.
- Partner with the CRO and cross-functional leaders across Marketing, Product, Finance, and other teams to align go-to-market priorities and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Bring customer and market insights into strategic decision-making, helping inform positioning, go-to-market strategy, and product priorities.
- Manage sales investments across compensation, technology, training, travel, and other resources, ensuring spending delivers measurable business value.
- Establish a scalable operating foundation that improves revenue predictability, expands market share, and supports sustainable top-line growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- At least 7 years of successful enterprise sales experience within the cybersecurity or AI technology industry.
- Advanced expertise in sales strategy, sales leadership, and operational execution within a high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of AI security concepts, including machine learning, threat detection, anomaly detection, and data protection.
- Demonstrated success leading and scaling large, geographically dispersed sales organizations.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve ambitious revenue and quota targets.
- Strong track record of recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing sales talent and leaders.
- Deep expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, sales metrics, CRM systems, and data-driven performance management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise customers, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience designing scalable sales processes and organizational structures during periods of rapid growth.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining sufficiently close to execution to identify challenges and drive results.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence Product, Marketing, Finance, and executive stakeholders.
