Virtual assistant (outreach and engagement)

We're looking for a Virtual Assistant to own high-volume outbound member texting for a fast-growing travel membership company. You will send outbound texts to a large volume of members on a recurring basis, personalizing each message just enough to feel human and relevant rather than copied and pasted. The core of this role is speed, accuracy, and quality at scale.

This is not primarily an inbound support role. It is also not a strategy or marketing position. The immediate focus is outbound texting execution — moving through a high volume of member conversations quickly, using context and prior message history to make small, thoughtful adjustments so every member feels like the company knows who they are. If you have excellent written English, a strong feel for natural US texting language, and can stay sharp and detail-oriented while working through repetitive communication work at pace, this role is a strong fit.

What You'll Work On

• High-Volume Outbound Member Texting
• Send outbound texts to a large volume of members on a recurring basis using approved messaging patterns and base templates
• Personalize messages just enough so they feel human, relevant, and timely rather than copied and pasted
• Review recent message history before sending outreach so members are not receiving the exact same style of message repeatedly
• Notice small details about members such as where they traveled recently, where they may want to go next, or what stage they are at in the travel planning process, and use those details to choose the best variation of a message
• Work through a large number of member conversations in a short window while staying accurate, efficient, and detail-oriented

Member Familiarity and Judgment

• Read member conversations regularly to build familiarity with the client base and improve judgment over time
• Learn the company well enough to understand what kind of outreach feels natural for different members and situations
• Follow messaging guidance and training while still making smart small adjustments when needed
• Escalate unusual, high-stakes, or unclear situations rather than guessing

What You Bring

• Excellent written English with a strong feel for natural US iMessage-style texting language — messages must sound like a real person texting, not scripted customer support
• Fast worker who can move through a high volume of conversations efficiently without becoming careless
• Comfortable doing repetitive communication work at pace without losing quality or attention to detail
• Strong memory for prior messages, member context, and small differences between conversations
• Able to infer which version of a message makes the most sense based on context rather than needing every line scripted in advance
• Reliable, organized, and consistent with a strong sense of when to ask questions versus when to act
• Available approximately 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM US time on a consistent basis

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in customer communication, outreach, texting-based support, inbox management, or similar high-volume communication work
• Familiarity with travel, membership, or subscription-based businesses
• Experience personalizing outreach at scale across a large contact base
