The US LBM Credit manager is responsible for managing credit-related activities within designated portfolio of accounts. This includes assessing credit risks, evaluating customer creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures. This person will collaborate with sales teams, analyze financial data, and make recommendations to optimize credit decisions while minimizing risk.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
Experience Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in credit and collections management. 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the management and collection of accounts receivable. MS Office experience required. Knowledge of lumber or building materials preferred. Ability to work on highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective in strategic business planning and relationship building.
Travel Requirements: 20% Travel.
