Project Ardhanarishvara is a flagship initiative by CX25WW, dedicated to building a secure digital ecosystem that empowers the transgender community through improved access to identity, education, employment, healthcare, financial inclusion, government welfare schemes, entrepreneurship, and community support.

Our mobile and web platforms aim to create an inclusive, accessible, and human-centered experience for users from diverse backgrounds, languages, and digital literacy levels.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced UI/UX Designer (Accessibility & Inclusive Design) to lead the design of intuitive, inclusive, and accessible digital experiences for Android, iOS, and web platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong visual design skills with expertise in accessibility standards, user research, interaction design, and design systems. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Flutter Developers, Backend Engineers, AI Specialists, and QA teams to ensure every user can interact with the platform confidently and independently.

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Discovery

  • Conduct user interviews, usability studies, surveys, and contextual research.
  • Develop user personas, empathy maps, customer journey maps, and service blueprints.
  • Understand the needs of transgender individuals, persons with disabilities, employers, NGOs, educators, healthcare providers, and government stakeholders.
  • Translate research findings into actionable design decisions.

UX Design

  • Design intuitive user flows and information architecture.
  • Create wireframes, low-fidelity concepts, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Optimize onboarding, navigation, search, forms, and transactional workflows.
  • Simplify complex government and enterprise processes into user-friendly experiences.
  • Design seamless cross-platform experiences for Android, iOS, tablets, and web.

UI Design

  • Design modern, responsive, and consistent interfaces.
  • Build and maintain a scalable Design System.
  • Develop reusable UI components and interaction patterns.
  • Ensure consistency across all CX25WW digital products.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.

Accessibility & Inclusive Design

  • Design in accordance with WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines (or higher where practical).
  • Ensure sufficient colour contrast, readable typography, scalable layouts, and accessible navigation.
  • Design for screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice interaction, and assistive technologies.
  • Create interfaces suitable for users with varying literacy levels and digital confidence.
  • Support multilingual and localization-ready interfaces.
  • Minimize cognitive load through clear information hierarchy and plain language.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Flutter Developers and Frontend Engineers.
  • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize user needs and business goals.
  • Support QA teams with accessibility validation and design acceptance criteria.

Language Requirement

Proficiency in English is mandatory, as all verbal and written communication with the team, clients, and stakeholders will be conducted in English.

Compensation & Payment Schedule

Full-Time Employment Compensation is processed monthly, with salary credited on the last working day of each month, subject to the terms of employment. Project-Based Engagement Project-based professionals will be compensated strictly based on the pre-approved project milestones defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Payments will be released only after the successful completion, review, and formal acceptance of the agreed milestone. Each milestone is considered a complete deliverable. Partial or incomplete milestone submissions will not qualify for milestone payment until all agreed acceptance criteria have been met. Timely delivery is a critical requirement. Delays in milestone completion may impact dependent activities, project schedules, and overall delivery timelines. Developers are expected to proactively communicate risks, blockers, or anticipated delays as soon as they are identified. The estimated duration of the Project Ardhanarishvara mobile application is approximately 24 months, with multiple development phases and milestone-based deliveries throughout the project lifecycle. We are looking for professionals who can demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.
