The Department of Revenue, Tax Division is recruiting for a Tax Auditor 1/2/3 in Anchorage! This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify.

What You Will Be Doing:

Promotes compliance with Alaska's tax laws through audits, compliance projects, and maintenance of tax programs. Conducts audits in various tax programs, including but not limited to, Commercial Passenger Vessel Excise Tax, Mining License Tax, Vehicle Rental Tax, and Fisheries-Related Taxes. Supports and collaborates with the Charitable Gaming and Excise Tax Group by aligning processes, sharing data, and assisting with joint projects and audits. Provides taxpayer education and conducts other activities that help tax payers comply with Alaska's tax laws.
