Position Scope

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts and partnering closely with hiring managers to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the organization. This role serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders by developing recruiting strategies, improving hiring processes, and supporting workforce planning initiatives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting process for identified roles across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Perform screening of applicants, assessment of their skill level/fit for roles and route appropriately.
  • Schedule interviews and candidate travel, when necessary.
  • Actively participate in career fairs, sourcing events and projects.
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and hiring priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and referrals.
  • Implement sourcing strategies and create continuous candidate pipelines.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams on employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts.
  • Guide and coach managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and applicants are assessed against appropriate criteria, and to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process.
  • Evaluate hiring and interview processes and techniques, system improvements, and identify training opportunities where applicable.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure hiring plans provide equal opportunities to all candidates (internal and external).
  • Manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employment requirements and onboarding.
  • Effectively utilize and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in applicant tracking system.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes, systems, and interview practices.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and new hire integration as needed.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple business lines or high-volume recruiting environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, interview practices, and employment regulations.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, utilities, or industrial recruiting preferred.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
