Summary

The Strategic Account Manager will be focused on driving new business sales into named accounts and prospects. He/she will be responsible for selling Vanair’s Mobile Power Solutions while also capturing market demand for new opportunities/solutions to be developed.

Essential Job Functions

• Generate incremental sales into named/targeted accounts and prospects.
• Increase revenue opportunities through building and managing long term relationship with Vanair customers.
• Create demand/pipeline of new opportunities to support sustainable growth.
• Work with product and marketing to develop new offerings based on market demand.
• Maintain certified knowledge in all product categories.

Skills

• 5 years+ in a strategic solution based sales role
• Previous history in strategic new business sales
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with vendors/suppliers/constituents, ability to influence change and adapt quickly to change.
• Ability to develop, communicate and maintain status reports with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to ensure ample service levels for customers in multiple time zones on occasion.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, and communication skills (oral and written).
• Interviewing skills
• Proven experience with multimedia.
• Ability to present new ideas, approaches and information clearly.
• Elite time management and ability to manage multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines.
• Diligent work ethic and insatiable desire to learn and develop skills.
• Self starter, highly motivated
