Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Manager- Revenue Growth Management based in United States.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity to build and scale revenue growth management capabilities across a dynamic consumer packaged goods portfolio. The role will shape how the business approaches pricing, promotion, trade investment, mix, and price-pack architecture to accelerate profitable growth. You will translate complex consumer, category, competitive, and financial data into clear commercial recommendations and actionable guardrails. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Finance, and Supply Chain, you will influence decisions that directly impact revenue and margin performance. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on analytics, giving you ownership of tools, frameworks, and repeatable RGM processes. It is well suited to an analytical and commercially minded leader who thrives in ambiguity and can drive change through influence. You will play an important role in establishing scalable ways of working and strengthening revenue management capabilities for long-term growth.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and lead revenue growth management strategies across pricing, promotion, product mix, and revenue optimization, using category, shopper, consumer, and competitive insights.
  • Establish commercial guardrails such as price corridors, price ladders, promotional depth and frequency, and pack architecture roles, ensuring they are adopted across go-to-market activities.
  • Evaluate pricing actions, portfolio changes, pack strategies, and promotional programs using financial and consumer analytics to identify profitable growth opportunities.
  • Own price-pack architecture frameworks, including channel-specific price ladders, pack roles, elasticity-informed recommendations, and innovation sizing.
  • Partner with Brand, Innovation, and Category teams to assess portfolio decisions, considering net revenue, margin, velocity, incrementality, and cannibalization.
  • Define trade investment strategy and governance, including spending guardrails, ROI expectations, and routines for reinvestment or pullback.
  • Lead pre- and post-promotion analysis, evaluating incrementality, halo effects, cannibalization, and profitability, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Support customer and channel strategies through assortment planning, promotional calendars, pricing compliance, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Equip Sales teams with fact-based insights, economic analysis, and commercial guardrails to strengthen negotiation preparation and decision-making.
  • Build scalable RGM tools and operating routines, including scorecards, templates, playbooks, reporting mechanisms, and decision forums.
  • Partner with Finance, Analytics, and IT to improve data quality, automation, and the integration of internal shipment data with syndicated and market-performance signals.
  • Influence cross-functional leaders and drive adoption of new revenue management practices, creating greater rigor, consistency, and repeatability across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Growth Management, Revenue Management, Commercial Strategy, Category Management, or Trade Strategy within the CPG industry, with beverage experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pricing, promotion, trade investment effectiveness, price-pack architecture, or related commercial strategy disciplines.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations involving incrementality, elasticity, mix, margin, ROI, and profitability.
  • Proven ability to influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders and drive adoption of new strategies, processes, and ways of working.
  • Strong business judgment, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex analytical findings into clear business choices and recommendations.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a strong bias toward action, high standards for analytical rigor, and a focus on scalable and repeatable processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or an advanced technical degree is a plus.
  • Experience working with syndicated or commercial performance data, including IRI/Nielsen, shipment and scan data alignment, and TPM tools, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with RGM toolkits, revenue management measurement approaches, and commercial analytics frameworks is advantageous.
  • Experience building or influencing a new RGM function within a CPG organization is a plus.
