Accountabilities:

The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex technology projects, ensuring successful execution while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and project teams.

• Lead the delivery and overall success of assigned IT projects, managing initiatives from initial planning through final implementation.
• Define project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, resource strategies, schedules, cost estimates, and status reporting processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign responsibilities, and provide guidance to ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved.
• Facilitate project meetings, track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues to maintain project momentum.
• Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, evaluate solutions, and translate business needs into effective technology initiatives.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, resources, and timelines while optimizing outcomes within business constraints.
• Provide regular updates, presentations, and recommendations to IT leadership, business stakeholders, and project sponsors.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
• Support technical teams by helping resolve complex issues and providing project leadership throughout implementation.
• Mentor team members by sharing project management best practices, improving collaboration, and promoting continuous improvement.
• Contribute to special projects and strategic technology initiatives as required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced IT project leader with a strong background in managing complex technology initiatives, coordinating teams, and delivering business-focused solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in information systems operations, systems analysis, development, or related technology environments.
• 3+ years of proven project management experience leading complex IT initiatives.
• Project management certification such as PMP or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong understanding of project planning, process mapping, budgeting, resource management, and timeline development.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving projects through successful completion.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with the ability to identify innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools such as MS Project.
• Experience within healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or related industries is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to accommodate business needs, including occasional travel requirements.
