Our client owns a boutique travel agency with over 25 years of experience, specializing in:
The business is currently undergoing a complete website redesign and rebranding. The Social Media Manager will play a key role in establishing and growing the company's online presence once the new website launches. This is a long-term opportunity with room to expand responsibilities as the business grows.
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and proactive Social Media Manager who can oversee and manage the client's social media presence from strategy through execution. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, suggest ideas, create engaging content, design graphics, schedule posts, and help establish a professional online brand while collaborating closely with the client. Initially, the workload will be light as the client prefers to start small, with approximately 10 hours per week, and increase responsibilities over time.

Remote, approximately 10 hours per week initially (agency minimum), long-term engagement, flexible schedule, ongoing collaboration, potential for increased hours as the business grows.
Website redesign is underway with another provider. Social media support will begin after or alongside the website launch. Initial target start date is September–October, depending on website completion and personal family commitments.
Build a stronger online presence, increase brand awareness, generate new travel inquiries, support SEO efforts through social media, position Beach Travel as a trusted expert in destination weddings, honeymoons, and Caribbean/Mexico travel.
Wants to start small and scale gradually, values recommendations and strategic guidance, wants someone who can think independently, prefers a VA with travel industry experience, wants all posts approved before publishing, wants assistance selecting the right social media management tools, will provide business assets and social media access, open to signing NDAs for confidentiality.
Potential future roles may include content writer, blog writer, marketing support. However, the immediate priority is hiring one outstanding Social Media Manager.
