Senior solutions architect

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, product, and customer teams to create impactful demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical proposals.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will guide customers and internal teams through complex technical challenges by designing solutions, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring successful adoption of healthcare data technologies. You will act as a bridge between business objectives and technical execution, helping clients maximize the value of advanced data platforms.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospective and existing customers by understanding their business needs, technical challenges, and solution requirements.
• Analyze customer environments and identify functionality gaps while collaborating with internal teams to develop effective solutions.
• Build strong relationships with strategic clients by understanding their goals, technology roadmaps, and long-term business objectives.
• Lead customers through the solution evaluation process by anticipating needs, addressing pain points, and presenting impactful technical approaches.
• Support proof-of-concepts, sandbox environments, demonstrations, and technical validations that showcase platform capabilities.
• Develop high-level architecture specifications, technical designs, documentation, and recommendations to support customer initiatives.
• Assist with data migration strategies and adoption plans while considering customer transformation goals and operational requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, RFP responses, proposals, and solution documentation for strategic opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales teams to provide technical expertise, strengthen account strategies, and align solutions with customer objectives.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, engineering teams, product teams, and support functions to communicate customer needs and insights.
• Stay current with healthcare technology trends, interoperability standards, competitive landscapes, and evolving customer requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvements across product, sales, and marketing initiatives from a technical perspective.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, and customer-facing technology roles. You should have a strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions while collaborating with enterprise customers and cross-functional teams.

• 7+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, customer consulting, solutions architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
• Experience contributing to system architecture, design patterns, reliability, scalability, and modernization of complex systems.
• Experience in healthcare technology, software platforms, or similar industries is preferred.
• Professional software development experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience implementing technology solutions and supporting customer adoption.
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex technology-based systems at scale.
• Ability to manage projects from requirements gathering and technical scoping through implementation and launch.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated experience presenting solutions and influencing stakeholders up to C-level leadership.
• Experience contributing to strategic RFP responses and enterprise customer proposals.
• Strong understanding of software development practices, including coding standards, source control, testing, deployment processes, and operations.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and supporting team development initiatives.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, including deployment patterns, CI/CD pipelines, containers, orchestration, infrastructure as code, and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with modern software development approaches such as microservices, scalable enterprise architectures, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR is preferred.
