Senior software engineer - mobile connectivity

Requirements & Qualifications:

Applicant must have Master of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.

Two (2) years of professional experience in Software Engineering with a focus on mobile connectivity and Internet of Things (IoT) products.

Applicants must have experience in:

• Android SDK development using Kotlin and Java;
• designing and implementing BLE GATT communications;
• Near Field Communication (NFC) integration;
• Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture;
• asynchronous programming using Coroutines and RxJava;
• collaborating with hardware/firmware teams;
• troubleshooting device communication using BLE sniffers, logic analyzers, and firmware logs.

Applicants are also required to have experience in dependency injection (Hilt) and unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD pipelines.

Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States. 40 hours per week. M-F: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Telecommuting is permitted.
