Akamai's Information Security team is responsible for safeguarding Akamai, its customers, and the Internet worldwide. You will report directly to the Director of Security Engineering. You will have the opportunity to address global security challenges and make the Internet a safer place. which is powered by the scale of Akamai's platform and influence.
As a Senior Security Engineer you will be assessing and mitigating the risk of doing business in today's hyper-connected world. You will work directly with Akamai's IT and engineering organizations providing security design guidance for new and existing applications, systems and platforms.

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $112,500 - $202,500/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
