SAP IS-U Senior Consultant (USA – Remote)

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (IS-U) implementations, enhancements, and transformation projects.
• Analyse business requirements and design scalable SAP IS-U solutions aligned with utility industry processes.
• Configure and optimise SAP IS-U functionalities including billing, invoicing, device management, contract accounts, customer service, and master data processes.
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Utilities transformation initiatives, including migration, process optimisation, and system modernisation programmes.
• Integrate SAP IS-U with other SAP solutions including SAP FI-CA, CRM/CX, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and industry-specific applications.
• Support end-to-end utility business processes including meter-to-cash, customer engagement, energy data management, and billing operations.
• Conduct solution design, testing, documentation, user training, and go-live support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide functional expertise and strategic guidance to customers on SAP Utilities best practices.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and SAP practice development.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, proposal development, and customer presentations where appropriate.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (IS-U).
• Proven experience delivering SAP IS-U implementation, rollout, migration, or optimisation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U processes including billing, invoicing, contract accounts, device management, customer service, and master data.
• Experience with SAP FI-CA and integration with SAP Finance processes is preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities transformation projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of utility industry processes including energy supply, metering, deregulated markets, and customer operations.
• Understanding of SAP integration technologies including SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, APIs, and enterprise application integration is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a consulting mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel within North America as required.
