Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Analyst based in United States.

This is a high-impact commercial operations role focused on turning Salesforce data into reliable sales execution and business insight. You will help maintain the integrity of CRM data while building reporting and dashboards that give sales leaders a clear view of pipeline, forecasts, bookings, campaigns, and performance. The role combines sales analytics, CRM administration, quoting support, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Salesforce teams. You will become a key day-to-day resource for sales teams, helping deals progress efficiently and ensuring forecasts remain accurate. Your analytical work will also support compensation validation, market performance reviews, and operational decision-making. The position offers significant autonomy in a fully remote U.S. environment, with work hours structured to provide coverage through approximately 4:00–4:30 PM Pacific Time. It is well suited to a detail-oriented sales operations professional who enjoys working with data, systems, and stakeholders to improve commercial performance.

Accountabilities

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve Salesforce reports and dashboards covering sales pipeline, forecasts, bookings, campaigns, and compensation inputs.
  • Maintain high-quality Salesforce data across accounts, contacts, opportunities, and leads through regular reviews, validation, and corrections.
  • Provide day-to-day Salesforce support to sales teams, helping users manage opportunities, pipeline activity, and CRM workflows effectively.
  • Support quoting activities through Salesforce CPQ, ensuring quote accuracy, appropriate approval routing, and compliance with pricing and discount requirements.
  • Follow up with sales teams regarding deal status, close dates, required updates, and other information needed to maintain reliable forecasts.
  • Maintain campaign lead data and support the handoff of qualified leads from Marketing into sales opportunities.
  • Support Commercial Operations leadership with ad hoc analysis, sales compensation data validation, market performance reviews, and other business analyses.
  • Monitor and document Salesforce issues and enhancement requests, escalating them to Salesforce Architects with clear requirements and relevant business context.
  • Maintain documentation covering reporting definitions, field standards, CRM processes, and recurring operational procedures.
  • Collaborate professionally with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Salesforce teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Protect data quality, privacy, confidentiality, and compliance standards across all sales operations activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve CRM workflows, reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and sales team adoption of systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in sales analytics, sales operations, CRM reporting, or a comparable commercial operations function.
  • Strong hands-on Salesforce reporting and dashboard development experience.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and CLM processes, which are critical to the role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret business data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong discipline around data quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, quoting, and CRM workflows.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, including the ability to follow up firmly and diplomatically with Sales stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage recurring responsibilities alongside ad hoc analysis and support requests.
  • Professionalism, integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and data privacy requirements.
  • Initiative and adaptability, with a willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Comfortable structuring the workday to provide coverage through approximately 4:00–4:30 PM Pacific Time.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.

Benefits:

  • Annual salary of $120,000–$130,000.
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work across Sales, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Salesforce functions.
  • Significant ownership of CRM data quality, reporting, forecasting, and sales operations processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, CPQ, and CLM workflows.
  • Opportunity to directly support sales leadership and influence commercial decision-making through analytics.
  • Exposure to pipeline management, bookings, compensation analysis, campaign operations, and market performance.
  • Cross-functional environment with opportunities to collaborate with Salesforce Architects and commercial leaders.
  • Opportunity to improve processes, reporting standards, CRM workflows, and sales team effectiveness.
  • Up to 10% domestic and international travel.
