Senior project manager – industrial digitalization & software implementation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Industrial Digitalization & Software Implementation based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex digital transformation initiatives within industrial environments. You will manage end-to-end software implementation projects that help manufacturers improve efficiency, optimize processes, and adopt advanced technologies.

Working closely with engineering, data science, customer success, and operations teams, you will drive successful project delivery across international markets. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead the successful execution of industrial software implementation projects while coordinating diverse teams and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations by combining structured project management practices with strong technical and stakeholder management skills.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of industrial software implementation projects across North America and Latin America, from project kickoff through successful deployment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating communication between client teams, partners, and internal technical resources.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation approaches.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, data science, customer success, and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, scope, schedule, and delivery objectives are achieved.
• Facilitate regular project reviews, status meetings, reporting activities, and stakeholder updates.
• Identify, track, and resolve project risks, dependencies, blockers, and operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, action plans, meeting records, decisions, and risk registers.
• Support on-site implementation activities at manufacturing facilities, ensuring effective project governance and customer engagement.
• Contribute to the improvement of project delivery processes, methodologies, and regional capabilities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience within industrial, manufacturing, or technology environments, with the ability to coordinate technical teams and manage complex customer engagements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to operate effectively across international and remote teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience managing industrial projects, preferably involving software implementation, automation, process control, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering projects within manufacturing or process industries such as cement, chemicals, refining, mining, pulp and paper, or similar sectors.
• Proven ability to manage international, multidisciplinary, and remote technical teams.
• Strong customer-facing project management experience with demonstrated stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Experience creating project plans, schedules, progress reports, and risk management documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership-driven and proactive approach.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
• Spanish proficiency is highly preferred for collaboration with Latin American teams and customers.
• Willingness to travel regularly to industrial sites across the United States and Latin America, with occasional international travel for coordination and training.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum is a plus.
• Experience with industrial digitalization, automation, Advanced Process Control (APC), Industrial IoT, MES, SCADA, DCS, historian systems, or industrial analytics platforms is highly valued.
• Experience with B2B SaaS, industrial technology companies, Jira, or similar project management tools is beneficial.
