Job Description

Senior Manager, SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)

This is a dual-mandate role: the Senior Manager, SAP SCM operates simultaneously as the Enterprise Solution Architect for Curtiss-Wright’s SAP Supply Chain Management portfolio — Production Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, and Shop Floor Control, and its integration with Engineering and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) — and as the People Manager for the SAP SCM functional team. Both pillars are core, co-equal responsibilities of the role.

Location: Remote, US

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000

Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge

Serve as Enterprise Solution Architect for the SAP SCM functional area, setting design direction across Production Planning, Manufacturing, QM, WM, Shop Floor Control, and MES/Engineering integration. Partner with Business Process Owners (BPOs) to identify, prioritize, and scope process needs, balancing new initiatives against support of legacy processes and integrations. Own the functional roadmap for SAP SCM, including evaluation of SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transition needs and IBP process design. Guide implementation of SAP SCM projects from requirements through go-live, in coordination with Application Management Services (AMS) support processes. Establish and track delivery metrics (e.g., ticket resolution time, project on-time rate, system uptime) and report status to IT and business leadership. Manage relationships with implementation partners and AMS vendors supporting the SCM functional area. Manage the SAP SCM functional team: hiring, onboarding, development planning, and annual performance evaluations. Set team priorities and workload to drive efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery of business value. Coach team members on both technical depth and stakeholder-facing skills. Own team capacity planning and staffing recommendations, feeding directly into the resource planning process.

What You Bring

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management
  • 20+ years of overall SAP SCM/ERP experience across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on depth in SCM modules (PP, QM, WM), MES integration, and enterprise-level solution architecture and roadmap ownership for a multi-module ERP portfolio.
  • Including at least 10+ years of that overall experience spent hands-on with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, configuration, and best practices.
  • Including at least 10+ years of that overall experience spent integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (e.g., Ariba, Concur, Workday).
  • 7+ years of direct people-management experience leading a technical or functional team, including hiring, performance management, and development planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP certification(s) in PP, QM, WM, or IBP — preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or nuclear-adjacent manufacturing environments.
