Senior manager, network success

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Network Success based in United States.

This role will lead the strategy and execution of a provider account management function across key markets, with a strong focus on engagement, retention, growth, and operational excellence. You will serve as an executive partner to strategic provider groups, building trusted relationships while aligning their needs with broader network objectives. A major priority will be developing scalable account planning, reporting, and performance management processes that enable the team to operate effectively as the network grows. You will also identify operational barriers and introduce AI-powered tools and automation to increase team capacity and reduce manual work. Working closely with Member Services, Claims, Clinical, Product, Analytics, and Network Strategy, you will help create a consistent and high-quality provider experience. As a people leader, you will coach and develop network and territory managers while building a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, execution, and provider success. This is a remote U.S. position, with the East Coast highly preferred and approximately 40% travel required.

Accountabilities:

• Serve as an executive sponsor for the largest and most strategic provider groups, developing durable relationships and strengthening long-term partnerships.
• Drive provider engagement, retention, revenue growth, and network performance through proactive account management and identification of expansion opportunities.
• Lead renewal and retention strategies for high-value provider accounts, proactively addressing risks and resolving barriers to continued partnership.
• Define team strategy, priorities, operating rhythms, and performance expectations in partnership with senior leadership.
• Build and improve scalable account planning frameworks, reporting cadences, performance management systems, and data-driven visibility into provider and team performance.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, responsiveness, and service quality.
• Identify, pilot, and scale AI-enabled tools and automation across Network Success workflows, including credentialing, settlement reconciliation, agreement drafting, and escalation triage.
• Partner with Analytics and Product/Engineering to identify high-impact AI use cases and turn successful pilots into repeatable, documented processes.
• Collaborate with Member Services, Claims, Clinical, Product, and Network Strategy teams to align workflows and deliver a consistent provider experience.
• Establish clear escalation pathways, responsibilities, and handoffs across functions while advocating for improvements to systems and processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network and territory managers responsible for provider relationships.
• Build a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on accountability, execution, continuous improvement, and provider success.
• Provide structured coaching, training, and development while increasing team fluency and confidence in AI-enabled workflows.
• Drive measurable improvements in provider retention and satisfaction, network participation and utilization, operational alignment, productivity, resolution times, and automation-driven efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in provider network management, healthcare operations, account leadership, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of direct team management experience; 5+ years is preferred.
• Strong industry knowledge, with experience in Centers of Excellence models, provider networks, or value-based care environments strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing teams and managing complex, high-value, or enterprise-level partner relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, automation, or workflow technologies to increase team productivity and streamline operations.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong strategic planning, operational management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence when working with internal stakeholders and external provider partners.
• Experience with project management and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Jira, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.
• Experience with provider credentialing, qualification, requalification, or quality oversight is relevant to the role.
• Ability to negotiate terms, rates, resolutions, or partnership outcomes directly or through oversight.
• A collaborative, inclusive, customer-focused mindset, with strong integrity, resilience, and a commitment to meaningful execution and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working remotely with an East Coast portfolio focus and traveling approximately 30–40% of the time, potentially on a monthly basis.
