Role overview

We're looking for a mid-level Recruiter who will own full-cycle hiring for a range of roles — from understanding a client's real needs, to sourcing and screening candidates, to presenting the best fits and handling negotiations through to signed offer. This is an individual-contributor role with real ownership: you'll run your own searches end-to-end and be trusted to bring your own judgment and ideas to how we work.

We're specifically looking for someone with strong, hands-on experience sourcing and hiring across Europe and Latin America — you know the talent pools, the market rates, the cultural nuances, and how to sell a remote US opportunity to candidates in these regions. Experience recruiting for the US market, or hiring US-based candidates, is a strong plus.

What you'll do

• Understand the real needs behind a client's request, translate them into a clear hiring profile, and build interview scripts and test assignments so your assessment of candidates actually matches what the client needs.
• Source candidates across Europe and Latin America (and the US, where relevant) via LinkedIn, AI-powered sourcing tools, and other platforms and techniques already in your toolkit.
• Run structured interviews to assess candidates against the client's requirements. All interviews — and everything we do daily — are in English.
• Shortlist the best-fit candidates within days, not weeks, fill in the showcase report explaining exactly why each candidate made the cut, and coordinate their interviews with the client.
• Moderate client-candidate interviews, support negotiations, help clients reach a decision, and keep searching until the role is filled with the right person.
• Own performance management for the talent we place — check in during their first weeks on the job, catch issues early, and work with clients on any concerns so placements actually last.
• Keep our ATS (Teamtailor) and our internal databases fully up to date at every stage, so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Grow your own LinkedIn network of candidates to strengthen our talent pool, build brand awareness, and move fast when a new role opens.
• Bring AI tools into your daily work — sourcing, screening, first-pass assessment, written communication — as a normal part of how you operate, not an experiment.
• Be proactive about how we work, not just what we hire for: if you spot a step in the process that's slow, repetitive, or could be smarter, say so. We're actively looking for someone who'll bring ideas and push for improvements, not just execute the playbook as-is — we're ready to hear you.
• Jump in on other tasks or projects as they come up.

What will set you up for success

• Fluent written and spoken English — you'll represent Hire5 to both clients and candidates, so grammar, spelling, and clarity need to be second nature.
• Solid experience sourcing and hiring for middle and senior remote specialists in digital fields, ideally at a recruiting agency, with a real track record in the Europe and LatAm markets specifically.
• Experience with the US candidate market, or recruiting for US-based clients/roles, is a big advantage.
• An AI-driven working style — you already use tools like ChatGPT/Claude, AI sourcing platforms, and automation for repetitive recruiting tasks as part of your everyday workflow, not as a novelty.
• Strong business acumen — clients often come to us with a general goal rather than a precise job spec, and you should be able to translate business needs into the right hiring profile.
• Persuasive, warm communication skills — confident building rapport, comfortable with small talk, and skilled at guiding both candidates and clients through a negotiation.
• A track record of strong closing rates on tight timelines, and — just as important — candidate retention. We care about hiring fast, but we care more about hires that stick, which is why we stay involved after the offer is signed.
• A genuine drive to communicate — you should get more energy, not less, from spending most of your day talking and writing to clients and candidates.
• Excellent organizational habits — you track every task, follow up proactively, never let a client or candidate go quiet, and keep information where it belongs.
• Real attention to detail — a stray double space or missing comma should bother you.
• Empathy and a genuine interest in people — balanced with the ability to think critically and spot red flags — with both candidates and clients.

Not required, but an advantage

• Experience working with US startups and an understanding of founders' mindsets and priorities.
• An existing network of specialists on LinkedIn, especially across Europe and Latin America.

Working hours

Our team needs to be available for both candidates (across Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Latin America) and clients (in the US), so the ideal schedule for this role is 11 am - 7 pm Central European Time.
