About the Role

mpathic is looking for a highly organized, proactive Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across a growing and fast-moving organization.

You’ll partner closely with our People team and hiring managers to move searches from kickoff through offer, while creating a thoughtful, efficient candidate experience. Our hiring needs span technical, program management, operations, finance, go-to-market, and other specialized roles, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable switching between very different candidate profiles and quickly learning what makes someone successful in each role.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll manage inbound applicants, proactively source candidates when needed, conduct recruiter screens, coordinate interview processes, keep hiring teams moving, and maintain accurate recruiting data and documentation.

We’re looking for someone who brings structure to ambiguity, communicates exceptionally well, and knows when to push a process forward rather than waiting for the next step.

What You'll Do

• Own Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage searches from intake and job posting through recruiter screen, interview coordination, references, and offer.
• Partner with Hiring Managers: Translate hiring needs into clear role requirements, interview plans, evaluation criteria, and realistic recruiting timelines.
• Screen Candidates: Conduct thoughtful recruiter screens covering candidate background, motivation, role alignment, compensation expectations, location/work authorization, availability, and timing.
• Manage Candidate Pipelines: Review inbound applicants, proactively source candidates where needed, maintain candidate stages, and ensure promising candidates move through the process quickly.
• Drive Interview Processes: Coordinate interview stages, prepare hiring teams, track feedback, and follow up with interviewers to keep decisions moving.
• Deliver a Strong Candidate Experience: Serve as a responsive and thoughtful point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process.
• Source Talent: Build targeted pipelines for harder-to-fill or specialized roles using LinkedIn, referrals, external sourcing partners, and other recruiting channels.
• Manage Recruiting Partners: Coordinate with external sourcers and recruiting partners when appropriate, ensuring their work is aligned with mpathic's priorities and hiring standards.
• Own ATS Hygiene: Maintain accurate candidate records, interview notes, dispositions, and recruiting workflows in BambooHR or other recruiting systems.
• Support Offers and Closing: Partner with People Ops and hiring managers on compensation alignment, references, offer preparation, and candidate closing.
• Build Repeatable Processes: Help improve recruiting templates, hiring-manager guidance, interview processes, candidate communications, and reporting as mpathic scales.
• Track Recruiting Progress: Maintain visibility into active searches, pipeline health, bottlenecks, and hiring priorities, escalating risks early.
• Support Changing Hiring Priorities: Quickly adapt as business needs evolve, including helping stand up urgent searches or high-volume hiring efforts when needed.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of recruiting related experience, ideally in a startup, technology company, or similarly fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing full-cycle recruiting, not just sourcing or interview coordination.
• Experience recruiting across multiple functions; experience with technical, product/program management, operations, finance, or GTM hiring is especially valuable.
• Strong recruiter-screening skills and the ability to quickly understand what a hiring manager is looking for.
• Excellent organization and follow-through across multiple active searches and candidates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create structure when priorities, roles, or processes are still evolving.
• Comfort working directly with senior leaders and hiring managers and proactively driving decisions and next steps.
• Strong judgment around candidate experience, confidentiality, and sensitive hiring information.
• Experience working in an ATS and maintaining clean, reliable recruiting data.
• A high level of ownership — you notice when something is stalled and take action to move it forward.

Nice to Have

• Experience recruiting in AI, machine learning, SaaS, behavioral health, life sciences, trust & safety, or another specialized technical environment.
• Experience recruiting technical product managers, program managers, AI/ML talent, or other difficult-to-source profiles.
• Experience supporting both traditional corporate hiring and faster-moving project or contract staffing.
• Experience working with external sourcers, recruiting agencies, or specialized talent partners.
• Experience with BambooHR or similar applicant tracking systems.
• Experience helping an early-stage or scaling company build more structured recruiting processes.
• Familiarity with recruiting metrics and pipeline reporting.
