JOB POSTING TITLE: PRODUCT OPERATIONS MANAGER
Job Summary
The Product Operations Manager is responsible for the systems, processes, and operational infrastructure that enable Neumo's Product Management organization to operate efficiently and at scale. This role serves as the connective tissue across product, engineering, UX, and go-to-market functions — establishing and maintaining the tools, workflows, rituals, and data practices that allow product teams to focus on discovery and delivery. The Product Operations Manager also owns product performance reporting, tooling administration, and cross-team enablement programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the operational processes, rituals, and frameworks used across the Product Management organization (e.g., roadmap planning cadences, intake workflows, Definition of Ready/Done standards, backlog hygiene practices)
- Administer and optimize the product team's core toolset, including roadmapping software, backlog management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Pendo, Dovetail and JIRA Product Discovery), and documentation repositories
- Own the product performance reporting infrastructure; build and maintain dashboards and reporting cadences that surface key product metrics, delivery health, and OKR progress to leadership
- Develop and maintain a library of reusable product templates, prompt libraries, and process documentation to accelerate and standardize work across the PM team
- Partner with Product leadership to support portfolio planning cycles, including annual roadmap planning, headcount modeling, and budget tracking
- Serve as the primary administrator and champion for AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatPRD, Copilot) adopted by the product team; develop guidance and training materials to drive consistent usage
- Coordinate cross-functional product launches and release communications, ensuring that Sales, Marketing, Implementation, and Customer Success are well-informed and prepared
- Support onboarding of new Product Managers and Product Owners by developing and maintaining onboarding materials, tool training, and process guides
- Gather and analyze voice-of-customer data, NPS inputs, and product feedback from implementation and support teams; synthesize findings and route to appropriate product owners
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in product operations, program management, business operations, or a related field; experience supporting a software product organization strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience administering product management tools such as JIRA, ProductBoard, Confluence, or Azure DevOps, Pendo.
- Experience building operational processes in a scaling SaaS or technology company
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and software delivery practices
- Experience with data reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Looker) preferred
- Experience in government technology or public sector software a plus

- Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with minimal direction
- Strong written communication skills; skilled at producing clear documentation, templates, and reporting outputs for varied audiences
- Collaborative and service-oriented mindset; comfortable working across teams and functions to enable others' success
- Analytical and data-fluent; able to design and interpret product and delivery metrics, and present insights clearly to leadership
- Proficiency with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot); experience building prompt templates or AI workflows for team productivity is a strong differentiator
- Ability to influence without authority and drive adoption of new tools and processes across a distributed team
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works remotely or in an office setting, at an individual workstation, using telephone and computer.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
- This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone and video conferencing
