Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer who excels in analytical thinking and is adept at translating complex data into insightful reports. This role acts as a critical link between business stakeholders and data, converting data into clear, actionable visuals. The candidate must be proficient in Power BI, data visualization, DAX, SQL queries, and data modeling concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
• Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI
• Keeping up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends

Power BI Report Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Create and maintain efficient data models and datasets in Power BI.
• Develop custom visualizations and calculations using DAX and Power Query.
• Design and develop interactive visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.

Data Modeling, Integration and Transformation:

• Integrate Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and other databases.
• Wrangle data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis.
• Apply data modeling best practices to support robust and scalable BI solutions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree.
• 4-6 years industry experience in Power BI, Data Visualization, DAX, SQL queries and Data modelling.
• Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
• Candidate should be Ok to work in US shift timings and may change based on projects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, Power Apps.
• Should be an expert in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server for data manipulation and extraction.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
