Permit Operations Coordinator

Fully Remote (U.S.) | $50,000–$55,000 Annually

We're looking for a Permit Operations Coordinator to take ownership of one of the most critical functions in our permitting process. This role is responsible for managing permit packet requests, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete, and coordinating the timely shipment of permit packages that keep projects moving forward.

What You'll Do

• Manage permit packet requests through our internal tracking system
• Review requests to ensure all required documentation has been received
• Print, organize, and assemble permit packets for submission
• Verify permit packages are complete and accurate before mailing
• Coordinate outgoing shipments using USPS and other approved carriers
• Ensure completed permit packets are mailed within 48 hours of receiving a complete request
• Track packet status and maintain accurate records
• Communicate with internal teams regarding documentation needs and shipment updates
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the permit packet process
• Support the Permitting team with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace
• Administrative, project coordination, permitting, or documentation experience preferred
• Experience working in construction, solar, engineering, or a project-based environment is a plus
