Job Responsibilities:

• Assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes accurately to patient records
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and regulations
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures
• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current on coding practices

Qualifications:

• Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• 1-2 years of coding experience preferred
• Proficient in ICD-10 CM, CPT, PCS, HCPCTs
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
