Job Description

Marketing Operations Coordinator (Paid Social & Creative Support)

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Part-time to start (hourly), with a clear path to full-time — this role is expected to grow into a full-time position quickly

Hours: Meaningful daily overlap with U.S. Central Time (CST), ideally covering most of the CST business day

About the Company

We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based sports content brand with a distinctive lens on the sports industry, producing social-first content that moves at the speed of sports. We are founder-led and in a high-growth stage, building operational infrastructure now so we can scale smoothly. The founder operates across a small portfolio of connected brands, including our flagship sports brand, a creative consulting practice, and ongoing paid social client work. This role sits at the center of that portfolio, keeping everything moving.

About the Role

The founder is currently the single point of failure across all three brands — the blocker on nearly everything. This role exists to change that. We are hiring a proactive operations partner, essentially a second brain, who can absorb administrative and coordination work, keep the creative pipeline flowing, and provide hands-on support in the paid social workflow. The goal is to free the founder to focus on growing the flagship sports brand and on higher-value strategy, while trusting that the day-to-day keeps running. This is not a task-by-task assistant role. It is built for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and moves things forward without being told each step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Operational Support
    • Manage recurring admin such as contracts (e.g., intern agreements), organization, and documentation
    • Keep projects and deliverables on track across brands
    • Own routine tasks end-to-end so they leave the founder's plate for good
  • Creative Workflow Coordination
    • Traffic creative assets between the founder, the designer, and clients
    • Ensure deliverables reach the right place, in the right format, on time
    • Manage timelines and hand-offs across multiple brands
  • Paid Social Support
    • Assist within the paid social workflow — helping organize, move, and manage assets and campaigns through the process
    • Support briefing and coordination between the founder and creative resources (This is a support role within paid social; deep working familiarity with the space is required, but you will not be leading strategy)
  • Cross-Brand Coordination
    • Act as the connective tissue across our flagship sports brand, the consulting practice, and paid social client work
    • Shift priorities smoothly as volume changes across brands

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a virtual assistant, marketing coordinator, or operations coordinator, ideally in a fast-paced marketing, creative, or agency environment
  • Working familiarity with paid social advertising (Meta, Instagram, TikTok ad ecosystems) — enough to support workflows and speak the language confidently
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work autonomously and proactively
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Comfort coordinating creative deliverables and juggling multiple brands at once
  • Consistent overlap with CST business hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in or knowledge of American sports and sports content
  • Experience supporting a founder, solo operator, or small agency
  • Familiarity with project management and creative tools (Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Monday, Canva, social scheduling platforms)
  • Light familiarity with creative production processes and hand-offs

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are:

  • Highly organized and genuinely proactive — you spot what needs doing and do it
  • Autonomous and comfortable with ambiguity; you can run with "figure it out" rather than needing everything spelled out
  • Calm with change, since the business is still evolving and priorities shift
  • A clear, reliable communicator who keeps people in the loop
  • Fluent enough in paid social to be useful from day one
  • A plus if you follow American sports and understand the content space

Why Join Us

This is the operational backbone role for a growing sports brand, with real ownership from the start. You will work directly with the founder, touch every part of the business, and step into a role that is designed to grow quickly from part-time into a full-time position as you prove your value.
