As a Marketing Manager, you will drive profitable growth, portfolio strategy, and innovation for Arxada's Plastics & Specialties business line.

This highly visible role sits at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and commercial execution. You will translate customer, application, competitive, regulatory, and market insights into actionable growth strategies, portfolio priorities, and commercialization plans. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Technical Service, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Operations, you will help strengthen Arxada's market position while accelerating sustainable growth across key plastics and polymer applications.

This is a fully remote position that can be performed anywhere within the United States and requires up to 20% travel, as needed, to support customer engagement, industry events, and business priorities.

Essential Job Functions

• Assess markets and applications through customer segmentation, customer mapping, competitive intelligence, value chain analysis, and TAM/SAM/SOM modeling.
• Support portfolio strategy and lifecycle management, including positioning, value proposition development, pricing support, margin improvement, product optimization, and portfolio rationalization.
• Lead the commercial front end of innovation by identifying unmet market needs, developing business cases, defining target product profiles, and guiding projects through stage-gate processes and successful commercialization.
• Partner closely with Sales to expand opportunity pipelines, support strategic account plans, and accelerate conversion of new applications and customer opportunities.
• Translate voice-of-customer insights into growth initiatives and portfolio priorities.
• Support development of marketing collateral, website content, sales enablement tools, and customer-facing value propositions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, industry influencers, and key stakeholders across the value chain.
• Represent Arxada at customer meetings, trade associations, conferences, and industry events.
• Present clear, data-driven recommendations during strategic planning, portfolio reviews, budget planning, and business reviews.
• Travel up to 20% to support business growth initiatives and customer engagement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, technical marketing, or business development within specialty chemicals, polymer additives, or performance materials.
• Experience within rigid PVC, flexible PVC, polyurethane foams, engineering plastics, or related markets preferred.
• Proven track record of driving profitable growth, portfolio strategy, market expansion, and successful commercialization initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience building business cases and supporting strategic investment decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional and global teams.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000 per year, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.

This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
