Linx trainer (casual on-call)

Responsibilities

Peraton Inc. is seeking a LInX Part Time On-Call Trainer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is telecommuter position. Realize the rewards of conquering a new challenge. The qualified applicant will join our team of experienced, motivated individuals in support of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX) Program and provide Training Support for the LInX Systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide training support to member agencies
• Support on line and occasional on-site training
• Provide new user and refresher training
• Manage on-line registration system
• Interact with agency administrators regarding training requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills: ability to interact with varying levels of DoD, Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement agencies and to train users and train the trainers
• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with a High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly desirable that the candidate have prior trainer experience
• Highly desirable that the candidate be familiar with State, County and Local enforcement organization structure and associated doctrines
• Highly desirable to have previous experience with LInX and other law enforcement automated information sharing systems

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
