The Junior Identity Administrator provides day-to-day operational support for enterprise identity and directory services in support of authentication and authorization capabilities (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory, identity federation, PKI, and MFA). This role monitors ticket queues, responds to incidents and service requests from the Service Desk, processes standard change requests, and escalates complex issues to senior team members as needed.
Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) user authentication, including MFA registration/enrollment and end-user troubleshooting. • Utilize PowerShell modules to manage objects and configurations across Active Directory, Entra ID, and ADFS. • Resolve common account and sign-in issues by reviewing Entra sign-in logs and applying approved remediation steps; escalate Conditional Access or policy-related issues as needed. • Provide basic support for hybrid identity dependencies (e.g., Active Directory Domain Services and directory synchronization) under guidance from senior administrators. • Support single sign-on (SSO) access issues for SaaS and internal applications (SAML/OIDC); assist with AD FS/Azure AD federation troubleshooting where applicable. • Assist with certificate-related requests and basic PKI troubleshooting (e.g., certificate lifecycle/renewals), escalating AD CS or complex PKI issues as needed.
This is a Contract position based out of Johnston, RI.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
