Rowan University is seeking skilled adjunct instructors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to join our team to deliver both in-person and online courses for the BS in Healthcare Management and Administration (BS in HCM) (in-person and online modes of delivery) and the MS in Healthcare Management programs (MS in HCM) (fully online). These roles provide a unique opportunity to engage students across various formats, enhancing their educational journey with dynamic and engaging content.
Both programs will accept applications year-round to maintain an ongoing pool of candidates. Instructors for both modes of delivery in the BS in HCM program will support first-year students, transfer students, and 3+1 students.
When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff courses such as: Introduction to Healthcare Management, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Marketing, Healthcare Law and Ethics, Research Methods, Healthcare Delivery and Quality, Healthcare Finance and Decision Making, Strategic Management in Health Care, Healthcare Operations Management, Healthcare Organization Leadership, AI in Healthcare Management, Risk Management in Healthcare, and related courses.
Our in-person instructors will have the opportunity to deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and provide hands-on guidance, creating an inspiring and interactive learning environment that complements our online offerings. You'll be instrumental in students' growth by bringing healthcare management concepts to life through dynamic in-class interactions.
As an online instructor teaching asynchronously, you will play an essential role in offering a rich online learning experience. You will work closely with the School of Professional Studies, as well as the Rowan Online Advising and Operations teams, ensuring a successful learning experience for our students.
Occasionally, adjuncts may be hired as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to collaborate with instructional designers in developing master course shells, translating current practices and trends into engaging, high-quality online course content.
Applications will be accepted year-round. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will review the submitted applications to staff the courses.
