About the Position

The Human Resources Specialist at Girl Scouts of Western Washington (GSWW) supports the employee experience through seasonal and year-round recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training, and workforce outreach initiatives. This position partners with hiring managers and the Vice President, Human Resources to support recruitment efforts and attract mission-aligned employees. The Human Resources Specialist also develops relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, workforce development partners, and other external stakeholders to increase awareness of employment opportunities at GSWW. The Human Resources Specialist coordinates onboarding activities, develops and facilitates employee training programs, supports employee engagement and recognition initiatives, and contributes to Human Resources projects that foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture. Through strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and customer service skills, this position helps create positive experiences for applicants and employees throughout the employee lifecycle.

This is a regular, full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt role that requires residency in Washington State, with preference for those residing in our Council Region of Western Washington. Work may be conducted remotely, but successful candidates must be willing and able to travel throughout the Council Region and work from GSWW offices, community locations, and other worksites as needed or requested.

The starting pay range for this position is $27.69 to $31.16 per hour.
