Accountabilities:

  • Partner with employees and managers to communicate and interpret Human Resources policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal employment regulations.
  • Provide managers with practical guidance on performance concerns, corrective action plans, employee relations matters, and involuntary terminations.
  • Respond to employee relations issues, helping assess concerns, support appropriate resolutions, and escalate matters when necessary.
  • Support and conduct employee relations investigations, including gathering relevant information, reviewing employment records, documenting findings, and assisting with appropriate follow-up.

  • Assist with developing and updating job descriptions for new and existing positions and conduct compensation analysis to support workforce planning and organizational decisions.
  • Support responses to EEOC, Department of Labor, and other employment-related claims by gathering historical employment and organizational information.
  • Assist with OSHA and workplace safety initiatives and help manage safety programs across assigned regions and offices.
  • Partner with management on promotions, staffing changes, and other employee actions to ensure appropriate documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate with HR data and payroll processing teams to ensure employee changes are accurately entered and processed in the relevant HR systems.
  • Oversee and support HR activities for an employee population of 500+ people across assigned regions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential HR documentation while supporting additional HR projects and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Travel to support business and HR needs as required, with travel expected to be up to 15%.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in Human Resources management or a closely related HR function.
  • At least 1 year of direct experience handling employee relations matters, with demonstrated ability to address workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws, regulations, and HR practices.
  • Experience supporting employee relations investigations, performance management, corrective actions, or related HR processes.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with compensation analysis and job description development is a plus.
  • Experience using Oracle HRIS or similar human resources information systems is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple HR matters and deadlines accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, timely, and well-documented work while handling sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
  • Comfortable supporting both employees and management in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare and technology environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% as required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for employment sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Estimated total cash compensation of $72,000–$85,000 USD, with individual compensation determined based on factors such as level, responsibilities, skills, and experience.

  • Exposure to a fast-growing healthcare and technology environment undergoing significant digital transformation.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a high-performance HR organization.
  • Collaborative work environment focused on inclusion, belonging, teamwork, and employee engagement.
  • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives that support employees, managers, and organizational growth.
  • Comprehensive total rewards approach designed to recognize employees for their contributions and impact.
  • Health and wellness-related benefits may include healthcare coverage and other employee programs, with specific eligibility and offerings determined by the hiring organization.
