Head of new business

JUICE is a performance marketing agency that has driven more than $2.5 billion in client revenue for brands like L’Oréal, CBDistillery, Effy Jewelry, Bond Vet, and [solidcore]. Our average client stays with us for over three years, our teams are senior only, and we run on proprietary AI built by our parent company, ONAR. The agency wins consistently once we’re in the room. This role exists to get us into more rooms and to turn those conversations into signed clients.

This isn’t a seat where you build your own pipeline from a cold start. A dedicated BD operations lead runs targeting, outbound, and scheduling, and books qualified discovery calls onto your calendar. The CEO joins your largest closing calls. You own the number.

What you’ll do

• Own new business revenue for JUICE: run discovery calls, shape the pitch to each brand, write and present proposals, negotiate, and close.
• Sell monthly retainers to e-commerce and consumer brands, with a minimum engagement size we hold firm on. Quality matters as much as volume: your compensation includes a second-year component, so clients that stay make you money.
• Work the pipeline our BD operations lead builds for you, and bring your own network on top of it.
• Keep the pipeline honest: stages, values, and next steps current, reviewed in a weekly meeting with the ONAR leadership team (CEO, President, and Finance).
• Feed what you hear in the market back into our targeting, our pitch, and our creative.

What good looks like

• Roughly 20 held discovery calls a month, booked for you, converting to 8 proposals and 2 or more signed clients at or above our engagement floor.
• A first close inside your first 90 days, with a compounding book from there.

Who you are

• 5+ years selling agency retainers, ideally $5K to $25K per month, at a performance or digital marketing agency. You’ve carried a number and hit it.
• A real network in e-commerce, DTC, or consumer brands, and the credibility to get a founder or CMO on the phone.
• A discovery-led seller. You ask about margins, LTV, and channel mix before you ever show a deck.
• Confident enough in your close rate to want commission-heavy compensation with uncapped upside.
• Fluent with modern tools. We use AI daily across the company and expect you to as well.

Compensation

A recoverable draw plus uncapped commission paid on collected revenue, including a trailing component in each client’s second year. On-target earnings are strong six figures with no ceiling; the economics reward sellers who sign clients that stay. Full structure shared early in the process.
