About the founder

About the role

You'll be the founding engineer hire and will play a significant role in building the core product and shaping the engineering team: Collaborate closely with the founder to contribute to and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and vision. Hands on development of backend, frontend and any required software. You’ll get the freedom to make architecture choices and making decisions on the tech stack from scratch. Recruit, hire and lead a rockstar team of engineers.

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

• 5+ years of web development engineering experience, with 2+ years in an engineering manager, technical lead, or architect role, fluent with best practices and modern web development.
• Demonstrated expertise in building products from the ground up.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast moving startup and in small teams with minimal guidance.
• Entrepreneurial spirit is appreciated.
• Appreciation for a culture of directness and get things done.
