The Information Technology Division provides a centralized internal technical support to all departments and divisions in the City to enable the organization to meet its objectives by providing and promoting the use and understanding of technology. We partner with our constituents to: (1) Provide a high level of service; (2) Develop, maintain, and enhance systems; (3) Identify and promote the use of new technologies; (4) Provide support and training; (5) Ensure open and continuous communication and follow-up; and (6) Understand and implement sound industry standards and procedures. In addition, the IT Division strives to enhance technology and access for the City and its citizens by recognizing the need to maintain the City's technology infrastructure, improve access to data, and expand access to resources in our community.
The City of West Hollywood is seeking a dynamic and innovative GIS Solutions Engineer to join our Finance and Technology Services Department. This role owns the City's full GIS portfolio spanning administration, development, solutions architecture, and analysis to advance the City's geospatial initiatives. You'll work hands-on with department stakeholders, vendors, and partners to design and execute solutions that meet real business and technical needs. You'll be the person turning spatial data into decisions city leaders and residents actually use. This position requires a versatile professional who can blend technical expertise with strong communication and project management skills to drive innovative GIS solutions for municipal challenges.

IT Manager
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field; and, Three (3) to four (4) years of progressively responsible experience; or, Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
