Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Front-End Developer (UI/UX Focused) within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, pixel-conscious web layouts that balance aesthetic beauty with functional performance
• Partner directly with UX/UI designers to translate mockups and design assets into polished, reusable React components
• Architect smooth transitions, intuitive navigation flows, and interactive elements that elevate the overall user experience
• Write modern CSS using advanced layout techniques (Grid, Flexbox, Tailwind, or Styled Components) to ensure visual consistency across all browsers and devices
• Advocate for accessibility by ensuring all UI implementations meet WCAG compliance and standard responsive design principles
• Connect polished front-end components to .NET-based APIs and backend services using React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, cross-functional collaboration, and constructive UI/UX critiques
• Conduct code reviews with an emphasis on visual fidelity, performance, and maintainability
• Debug, troubleshoot, and refine existing user interfaces to improve usability and polish
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests for UI components
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality

Qualifications:

• Portfolio or link to live projects demonstrating a strong eye for layout, typography, UI consistency, and responsive design
• 5+ years of front-end development experience with a heavy emphasis on user-facing interfaces
• Deep expertise in React (hooks, component architecture, modular component libraries)
• Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, modern CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with inspecting design assets and design systems in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and managing data flow smoothly to the UI
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with state management tools (Redux, Context API, or Zustand) to manage complex UI states
• Past experience building or maintaining a centralized design system or UI component kit
• Basic familiarity with .NET backend environments and Azure cloud integration
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience working within government or regulated environments

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $90,000-$155,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 individual contributor in a Software Development position.
