Job Description

ABOUT YOU:

As FP&A Manager, you will ensure all financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. Manages the daily financial activities and functions for an organization including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. This role provides guidance to managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant, and useful financial reporting is produced. Forecasts and manages a cash flow that meets the needs of the company. You will maintain high ethical conduct and integrity and a commitment to confidentiality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Compose timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial analysis and forecast.
  • Provide financial analysis and steer the management to focus on areas for cost savings and improve profit margins.
  • Help define and create financial reporting packages, metrics, and dashboards to enable decision making.
  • Leads FP&A functions.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through trend spotting and analysis, provide recommendations and prepare variance analysis for senior management.
  • Support quarterly Board of Directors and Investor Relations deliverables.
  • Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
  • Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
  • Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.
  • Develop and implement a budget plan and work with managers to produce and manage effective budgets.
  • Acts as an advisor to management on regulations and other matters that may impact the financial activities of the company, engaging with outside consultants if applicable.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
  • Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
  • Completes other jobs assigned by department head.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Education and Experience:

  • BA in Accounting/ Finance or MBA
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in a business or finance capacity
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes and financial policies and controls

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to senior leaders and facilitate positive working relationships across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability in development of business strategies and project management
  • Strong financial modeling and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other financial planning software
  • Strong inner drive and self-discipline
  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for no less than 8 hours a day
  • Ability to view computer screen for long-durations
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds

Availability:

Willingness to travel as needed, including, but not limited to our corporate headquarters in Dublin, CA.
